Some eminent photographers consider photography not as “Art” but simply as an essential means of communication and testimony, especially nowadays. Even if, on the one hand, this is undeniable, it does not mean that photography has to be relegated to a purely material and worthless level and that it can not be placed between the “Arts”, whereas “Art” can be intended as “imitation of the Nature in His form of Work”. Life does not belong to us and there are states of being in which it is possible to take consciousness of the Causal Reality: it is the exact moment in which concentration (on the One) is so deep that our consciousness is empathized with that of the Universe and the alignment in a single point of body, mind and heart can only produce a result that is not dictated by our will but by the one “from which all things depend.” It is the direct intervention of Intellect or Logos, the universal power in which every man takes part, even if subconsciously, and that all traditions testify to be present in every human being insisting over the need of learning about It. In such a way photography is a true Art, whereas the artist, son of the instant, knows how “to seize the moment” producing an image that alone is the “synthesis” itself of any event in life, the “fixation” of a temporal fraction in the world of Becoming. We must always keep in mind that nature is a symbol of universal principles in its unfolding and in its constant and perpetual mutation, relative realities that vouch for its Author, the Aristotelian prime mover principle of all things. This is photography in its most profound meaning and the fulfillment of the “Works” according to such assumptions can establish the “viaticum” of existence, of invaluable and incommensurable value. Another fundamental component of this Art is “Beauty” intended as the “Magnificence of Truth” and, just to abide by this ancient precept as old as the world. You will be finding faithful images reproducing what has been seen in that precise moment, both in colors and in its composition. We wish you a good journey hoping to help you literally catch these aspects through our photos, thus leaving a small proof of our passage in this ever-changing world, though seemingly absurd as a result of the senseless human actions that are subverting it, yet perpetuates over time as its Creator demands: cosmic cycles that indefinitely come in succession one after the other.
